Why we built this

A note from our founder

Running a $3M brand sounds glamorous until you’re the one at 11 PM copy-pasting tracking numbers from a WeChat thread into a messy spreadsheet. I spent four years scaling my own Amazon FBA and Shopify business only to realize I wasn’t an entrepreneur anymore — I was a glorified data-entry clerk.

The chaos of scattered POs, missed supplier messages and “estimated” inventory was costing me sleep and, more importantly, profit. Worst of all, I never knew my real landed cost until the final invoice landed weeks later — by then it was too late to do anything but hope the margin still worked. I looked for a fix, but everything on the market was built for enterprise teams with fifty people in ops.

So I built SupplyAutomate — the single source of truth I wish I’d had when I was starting out. It’s made specifically for Amazon FBA and Shopify sellers who need to move fast, stay lean, and always know the exact price of what they’re selling.

What people ask before trusting an AI with a purchase order

What can the assistant do without asking me first?
It can read. Searching your orders, documents, shipments, payments, products and suppliers happens freely, because none of it changes anything. Everything that does change something — raising a purchase order, recording a payment, moving an order to a new stage, adding a supplier, messaging one — is prepared as a draft and held until you approve it. That gate is built into the product, not a preference you can switch off.
What if it reads a document wrong?
Every figure it extracts stays linked to the document and the page it came from, so you can check any number against the original in one click and correct it in place. Corrections apply to the order immediately, and the landed cost recalculates. Nothing is written to your books without passing in front of you first.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your invoices, supplier terms and order history are never used to train models, and they are never shared with other accounts. The assistant only ever reads the data belonging to the account you are signed into.
How long does supply chain setup take?
Our guided onboarding gets you running in under 15 minutes. Upload your existing POs, invoices and shipping docs as PDFs — no manual re-entry — and invite your suppliers right away. A single invoice turns into an organized order view in well under a minute; the 15 minutes covers getting your whole operation in.
What happens when the 14-day trial ends?
Every account starts with 14 days of Pro, with no card required and nothing locked. When the trial ends you drop to Free, which keeps every feature except priority support and has no limit on suppliers, purchase orders, brands, retailers or team members — the only ceiling is $25k of invoice value tracked in total. Pass that and Pro is $99/month. Nothing is deleted and we never charge a card you have not entered.
Can I work in currencies other than USD?
Yes — every currency is supported. Currency is set per purchase order and per shipment, not globally, so a EUR order to an Italian supplier and a USD quote from the same factory both stay in the currency they were actually agreed in. Totals across a mixed set are reported per currency, so nothing is silently added together at a rate you did not choose.
Do you work outside the US?
Yes. Teams import into Australia, Singapore, the UK, the EU, Canada and beyond. There is no US-only step anywhere in the product — set your import country, currency and duty defaults in settings, and the landed-cost, duty and freight calculations follow your lane rather than a US one. One exception, and it sits outside the product: our free Import Duty Calculator looks rates up against the US HTS schedule specifically, so it only answers for US-bound shipments.
Does it work with my existing 3PL or warehouse?
Yes. Invite your 3PL provider or internal warehouse team as collaborators on the relevant PO so they can post shipment and inventory updates directly, and you always have the exact landed cost on hand.
What if my suppliers only communicate over WeChat?
That’s exactly what we built this for. Invite your supplier to the relevant PO — they can share updates and documents directly there, so nothing important stays buried in a WeChat thread only you can see.
Is my supplier and financial data secure?
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and it’s never shared with other accounts or used to train models. You control exactly who on your team or extended network can see each order.
Do I need a contract, or can I cancel anytime?
No contracts. SupplyAutomate is month-to-month, and you can cancel from your account settings at any time — no calls, no retention forms.
Can I add my accountant, agent or warehouse team?
Yes, on both plans — team members are unlimited on Free as well as Pro. Invite anyone in your extended operation and control what each collaborator can see or edit per order.
Does this replace my spreadsheets completely?
For purchase orders, supplier communication and shipment tracking, yes. You can still export anything to CSV or Excel whenever you need a spreadsheet view for accounting or one-off analysis.
Is there a mobile app?
SupplyAutomate runs fully in the browser and is optimized for mobile, so you can check shipment status or reply to a supplier thread from your phone without installing anything.
How do I export my supply chain data?
You keep full ownership of your data. Export purchase orders, supplier communications, shipping invoices and landed-cost reports to CSV or Excel at any time for accounting or audit needs.
